Complete scenario rehearsal
A fictional exercise is about to begin. A readiness record has one unchecked item, the incoming update has reached only some team leads, and a colleague raises a workload concern. Describe how you would coordinate at interview level.

Reveal the worked response
I would first establish the immediate objective and the authority for deciding whether the exercise can proceed, without assuming that I can approve it myself. I would verify the unchecked item against the approved record, identify the person qualified or authorised to confirm it and inform the responsible decision-maker of its status. I would check the incoming update with its source, distribute the confirmed information through the agreed command channel and ask each affected lead to acknowledge it. I would also listen to the colleague’s workload concern privately, identify any immediate adjustment within my role and refer the matter through the proper support route without making a medical judgement or promising an unauthorised arrangement. I would record owners, outstanding checks and the next review point, then ensure the handover captures the final status. If readiness or authority remained unresolved, I would escalate and follow the confirmed direction rather than proceed on assumption. This answer demonstrates coordination, communication and care for staff while respecting command boundaries. Operational tactics and technical decisions belong to approved training and the actual command structure, not an interview coaching scenario.
